FAQ

Do you offer consultations?

Yes, I offer 1 20-25 min complimentary video consultation. If you are unable to attend the first scheduled consultation, I would be happy to offer an additional paid video consultation ($50).

What populations do you serve?

I work with individual adults ages 18 and beyond, couples, alternative relationship constellations (polyamory, non-monogamy, etc), and families. I focus my work and research on the lived experiences of my clients. I aim to destigmatize therapy from a human-oriented approach. I work with individuals to develop positive tools and resources to help improve their relational and individual wellbeing.

What can I expect in regards to the overall therapeutic process?

You can expect care in a safe, non-judgmental, compassionate, and collaborative space that will begin with a consultation. Therapy sessions are 50 minutes. I recommend most clients engage in weekly sessions for the most fulfilling results, but of course this is dependant on your overall needs.

How much will it cost? Do I accept insurance?

Individual Services- $150/per session

Couples/Family Services- $175/per session

I am in network with Premera, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Lifewise. I may be considered an out-of-network insurance provider otherwise and can provide Superbills for clients to submit an insurance reimbursement for services covered through out-of-network benefits. I accept all major credit cards, no cash or check payments accepted. Payment is required before the time of services as billing is completed on the Sunday of the week of your scheduled appointment. I also accept vouchers from The Washington Therapy Fund.

How does TeleTherapy work?

Teletherapy is an accessible way to receive support that involves a secure link to your own virtual therapy space. All that’s required is a private space, computer/tablet/or phone, and reliable internet connection. The virtual platform I use is confidential and HIPAA compliant. Please note that clients will receive a new link before every session.
